Rio is a Co‑Founder and Managing Partner of LHBM Counsel. He advises leading national and multinational clients on complex corporate matters, with particular experience in corporate transactions, construction, capital markets, and commercial litigation. He has more than 15 years of experience acting on high‑value and cross‑border transactions and disputes.
In addition to his legal practice, Rio serves as a member of the Audit Committee of PT Graha Layar Prima Tbk (CGV Cinemas), where he is responsible for overseeing compliance matters.
Rio holds an LL.M. from the University of Queensland and an S.H. from Universitas Katolik Parahyangan. He is consistently recognized by leading legal publications and directories, including Asia Business Law Journal, which named him one of Indonesia’s Top 100 Lawyers for six consecutive years (2020–2025), and Asian Legal Business, which recognized him as Indonesia’s Rising Star (2019). He has also been selected as an Asialaw Leading Lawyer (2012) and endorsed by Global Law Experts as a recommended lawyer in the Mergers & Acquisitions practice area.
Rio is a member of the Indonesian Bar Association (PERADI), the Financial Sector Legal Consultants Association (HKHSK), and is registered as a legal consultant with the Indonesian Financial Services Authority (OJK). He is also a frequent contributor to the World Bank Group’s Doing Business project.
